The Emergency Road Opening Programme was a nation-wide programme funded by various internationaldonors. The Manica and Tete Provinces were funded by KFW of Germany, and supervised by GITEC Consult.The project involved clearing and rehabilitation of 2,630km of state roads in the two provinces.Tarcon carried out earthworks, road formation, drainage, gravelling and bituminous surface repairs.
